HI I’m PHOEBE! The lady behind the lens!

ABOUT ME.

About Me! Here’s how it began and here’s where we are!

My name is Phoebe! I am your native Michigander! I reside in Northern Michigan, just below the bridge on our small farm. I picked up my first camera when I was 7 and I haven’t put it down since. I’ve been photographing weddings and people since I was 16. After graduating with a degree in photography & ceramics from Michigan State, I dove head first into photography full time and am now going into my 4th full time season.

I consider myself a documentary and lifestyle type photographer, with an immense interest in being able to timestamp all the moments of your life. Whether it is your wedding day, all the little toes of your new sweet newborn, you and your favorite 4-legged pal, or just where your life is at right at this moment I am here for it.

I wanna be more than just your photographer.

I want to be your friend! I still receive Christmas cards and texts from some of my clients! Yes, I want to be the vendor you choose, but I believe in connection, you should connect with my work but also me as a person. I am able to provide my BEST work when you are comfortable with me.

don’t be afraid to Shoot me a text! If you’re local or close by let’s go get a beer or a cocktail!

Life outside the camera.

I promise I am human! LOL!

While I love being behind the camera there are many other things I love and you can find me doing! The other half of my work life is filled with clay. I am also a functional potter. I have a studio at home that I spend another chunk of my time in. Specializing in handmade functional goods (you can see more at www.phoebemollceramics.com).

Outside of my work life entirely I live on a farm. I have two horses, a yellow lab named Seger, and 3 barn kitties. If I am not working it is usually a guarantee to find me riding one of my horses.

Some other favorites of mine include, cooking, hosting friends at our home and enjoying a goooooood cocktail or glass of wine, especially on the front porch in the summer time.

You can peek at what it might look like down below! :)
